XM bulbs

[gofast]

Hos anyone have any experiance with thee xm 10.000k 175 bulbs .
I just got one and it seems very green. will it turn more blue white as it
burns. I t is a big change from my old ushios.

cant comment on the 175w's but i got two of the 250's and have had them
going for about 2 months now and they started off white and are still white.
never had a green look.

i have read many posts over on RC about the 20KK's changing color, but i
have several and a few are getting close to a year old and no change in
color i honestly think it's dependant on the ballast you use.

that or the type ballast your using on it. what type (not just name brand)
are you using???

check the bulb like i told you in the email reply, other then a damaged
envelope i cant think of a reason for an off color.

guess it depends on the eye. my eye likes XM's, but it might be them "damn
sexy eyes" that the ladies tell me i got. :)

the bulb seems completely fine. marine depot finnaly got back to me and they
said they would exchange it but to let it run for 120 hours to burn in
before i do .
the colour is a little better but that could be that i am just getting used
to looking at it this way.
