If anyone is having problems with traditional ich and fungus treatments
(sometimes because you are just to busy to remember to put in the next
application of an otherwise good product), I have a product we have
tested and used on one of the oldest and largest aquarium maintenance
companies in the LA area. The product is called a "medicated wonder
shell". It comes in Large for 40-60 gallon aquariums and the Med. for
10 -35 gallon aquariums (use 2 Lg. for 100 gal.). This product
oxygenates and also medicates freshwater aquariums. Do not use this
product continuosly for more than 3 weeks though, also use with caution
in planted aquariums. this product is especially useful in discus,
cichlid and tetra aqauriums. Carbon fitration can be continued when
used as a prevantative when new fish are added. It is available at:
