tiger barbs&plants

ok i have a tank with 4 norm tiger barbs 2 albino an 2 green(moss) an i
was wondering what the best plant to get would be. oh ya i would a ghost
shrimp be a good idea if i had enough plants? water temp is normaly 75-
80 with lighting an right infront of a window

uh oh, tank right in front of a window does not sound good!!!!

I think you are going to get massive amounts of algae if you dont already.
Best keep your tank away from direct sunlight if possible

I'm not really a plant person, as you'll tell from my reply, but the way
I've always done it is look aroung at the lfs for one I like, try to
find out a little bit about it, then -- if I think I can satisfy its
requirements, buy it and see how it works out.
