white squiggle for lack of better description

anyone know what is leaving white zig-zags on the top of the glass? I can't
really find the culprit.

only crabs, shrimp and snails are in there as far as I know.

Could be eggs laid by a snail.

Do you have any cerith snails? They leave white zig-zaged egg masses
quite often.
