View Full Version : endlers Halfbeaks
Endlers:OK, I know they are a form of guppy, but can they be successfully
kept in a community tank?
Also, if kept in a tank containing just mollies, would they interbreed?
Half beaks (Celebes) How can you tell when the female is pregnant?
Thank you

Pure Endler's are quite small - the males are smaller than neons. I've
heard that larger ones have been inbred with guppies. They're quite
peaceful and fine in a community where the other fish aren't large
enough to eat them. I keep mine in a small tank with otocinclus and
apple snails. Mollies, platies, or swords will not interbreed with
Endler's, but guppies will.
I've never bred half beaks, but most female fish swell with eggs or
young when they're pregnant.
