Slipper/Tongue Coral Dying

I have a slipper coral on the sand bed of my tank. Apparently these are one
of the easier corals to keep and as a beginner i thought i would try one.
(Polyphillia). My water parameters are fine - better than the shop that I
bought the coral from!!

Anyone have any ideas....Soft corals OK but this is looking bad. I am going
to give up on hard corals for a while I think!!

Any ideas would be appreciated

Hard corals can be challenging. I have a torch that's not doing as good as I
thought it would. Branches die off every couple of weeks. On the other hand
my friend has torches that do awesome and he's just starting out.

Try moving it to another spot in the tank. Maybe too much light or too
little light? Who knows.

I am using 1 250w 20,000k halide and 2 t5 actinics.

Will it recover?
