This is my first posting in this group. I hope someone can identify
this problem and offer a possible solution or suggestion.

I purchased a Dwarf Blue Neon Gouami yesterday. Today, I noticed it
has a small bump or growth on it's side. Does anyone know what this
could be and how to remedy it. Plus, will it affect my other fish?
Should I remove it?

I have a 55 gallon community tank maintained at 6.8 ph and hardness of
8 dH. This Neon Gourami share this tank with Tetras, Corys, Swords, a
Moonlight Gourami, and a Pearl Gourami.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
