When you pull up a powerhead or pump from the bottom of the tank to clean
off the intake.. make sure the *outlet* is pointing down into the tank.. and
not aimed at the wall behind the tank.

Next time, try unplugging the powerhead first, then you wont have to worry
about which way it is pointing to.

Then you could have kept your remark to yourself.. the attitude really
wasn't necessary. Or have you done the same thing yourself on an occasion or
two and did I just happen to remind you how utterly stupid it made you
feel.. hmmm? Lighten up.. you'll live longer and be much happier if you
don't have to walk around holding your ass shut so tight.

"attitude" ??

No.. I don' t consider that * in line* and if someone didn't like what I had
to say while just kidding around then nothing needed to be said. I wasn't
advocating doing something really stupid to your tank or anything of that
nature. If it wasn't funny.. too bad. I get so sick of the holier than
everyfreakingbody else in these damn newsgroups. Have fun y'all.. keep
everything nice and serious... don't get a smile out of anything.. take your
bad ass little pompous attitudes out on someone else now. This is sent and I
am out of here.

Wow! That wasn't the outcome I was expecting. I thought part of being an
active participant in a newsgroup was the inherent troubles that can ensue
with interpreting the written word of persons unknown to oneself. An
occasional Flame, Miscommunication, or other Surprise is not to be taken
personal... I thought. I almost forgot to mention Trolls.. they are
detritus, but here to stay also right? Maybe I just missed something....
Again! Let me go take my medications and think about it some more.

well the reply wasn't intended to ruffle your feathers by no means.
I thought the original post was intended to be humorous (and it was) Jimmy
didn't, and he answered with a helpful answer. you just got all bent outta
shape over it for no reason. we all have bad days, you get past them and go
on with life. I think its called "lighten up a lil"
