I have a 58G tank which has a not so common array of fish. I think...all was
working until a few days ago that two fish dissapear and one had bean beaten
so badly that it hardly had any fins.
I have not see any aggression during day time. I am suspecting something is
going on at night.

I have some bolivian rams, guppies, angels, swordtails, and cory in this
tank. Sometime like a month and a half ago I bought some small fidder shrimp
for the rams which they love.
I notice today these shrimps have grown quite a bit in this span. They are
know over three inches. They seem to have some small class in the front.
They look like a ghost shrimp with red and black rays in their bodies. They
have long hair is the front(tentacles, antennas). I think they are the cause
of my problem. Im suspectin they are picking the fins of other fish at
night. Two of my corys that are left are showing some damage in their fins.
The rams seem to be okay. The fish that dissapeared were a cory and a
guppie. No trace of them found. I have a medium planted tank. This has made
removing the shrimp difficult.

Any ideas how to remove the shrimp or where has the fin damage come from?

Thanks

I presume the shrimp are the culprits, but I know nothing about this
specific shrimp specie so am guessing. I suggest that you roll up your
shirt sleeve, stick your hand in the tank and through the plants,
chasing out the critters, and pick them out by hand.
