Should the ph electrode be placed at the opposite end of the tank in
reference to the position of the co2 reactor or should it be placed in close
proximity? It seems that there is a waste of co2 gas with the electrode too
far away and the ph reading is a little higher. Any comments. Am a real
newbie at this deal.

Thanks for your help in advance.

More likely a water circulation issue especially with tank busting plants.
The pH is likely to be lower on the ouput side of the spray bar compared to
the other side of the tank in such circumstances.
