Well Sherman (the Tank) Turtle seems as if his troubles are worse than a
slightly cracked shell. His limbs all survived, but it seems as if he is
blind. One eye protrudes 1/8" from his head and the other looks foggy. I
can hold an earthworm 1/16" from his head and he / she / /it doesn't seem to
notice. If it touches his head he jerks back. If I am persistent he tries
pushing it away with a front ?paw? ?arm? ?foot?
Seems as if he is not eating anything. Not sure how long he will survive
without food.
Any one have idea's how to get him to eat? Just to make sure it isn't
damaged too, I know his mouth opens. We have tried fresh greens, zucchini,
red worms, live and dead feeder fish, chicken, beef, liver, even Tetra
flakes, and Blood Worms.
NEED HELP!!!
Also, anyone remember the turtles name in the cartoon with Mr. Wizard? I
remember Sherman and Mr. Peabody the dog, but cannot remember the turtle's
name. All about the same time as Rocky and Bullwinkle. Really showing my
age now.
