I bought a moss ball off eBay a while ago (probably 2 Months) this last week
I have noticed it has gone very pale looking, its as though it has been left
in the sun.
It started off very healthy looking and a good dark green, what have I done
?, anybody got any ideas.
Thanks for any help

Your moss ball needs at least moderate light for 10-12 hrs per day from a
light fixture right above your aquarium. Sunlight from a nearby window and
the room light are not enough.
Also, what are your nitrates and nitrite levels? How about pH and hardness?
This is very likely a light issue though.

The other poster mentioned the lighting and nitrate/nitrite levels. How
about iron? I find that my plants usually want iron if they start
turning a little on the yellow side. Upping the dose will perk them
right back up.
