Hello
I've just change water, (about 10%) in my 250 gal tank. But still i have
very high KH about 20 dKH, and calcium 380 ppm. I turned off my
calciumreaktor and calcium mixer, and just add CaCl2 and NaHCO3 (Balling
method). How can I low the KH, and raise Ca. Ph is 7,95-8,20. My OR water is
soft. I use Kent Marine Salt.

sounds like your reactor needs to be readjusted.

its best to turn the CO2 up slowly until you don't get a drop in Alk each
day (daily testing is required) when you get to this point leave the
adjustments alone and then start testing your Ca.

if Ca is low, add a Ca buffer to bring it up to the proper levels. the
reactor should keep it set then.

NOTE: after you get your Ca up with the buffer, its a good idea to recheck
the Alk daily to make sure its still correct.
