I am trying to make a solution to clean some new plants I have bought/will
buy.
Som einstructions on the web says to have 1 part bleach and 19 parts water.
What does this mean?

As exemple, you use 1 ounce of bleach for 19 ounces of water (20
ounces total). Let your plant seak in that solution not more than 3
minutes . Some sensitive plant like the cabomba won't resist to the
treatment.

"parts" means quantity or volume. 1 tablespoon bleach
to 19 tablespoons water, for example. Or whatever
measuring system you use.
