Nice to meet you too Rick! I think you have an awesome setup (all of them),
I would probably use a pond filter in a big tank like you too - I love to
"overkill" for my fishes' best health but I still don't have setups as up to
par as yours. I guess because the crayfish is in a big tank it doesn't
bother the other fish in with it. Cool to know. Nice to meet you, later!

Thank you. Believe it or not, the crayfish and clownfish share the same
hiding spot. He's fun to watch when he comes out and picks up everything he
comes across, he's quite the scavenger. The first time I saw his shell
laying around, I thought he was a goner, then I saw him, even bigger and
brighter blue then before. Molting-Duh. I think I forget more stuff then I
remember anymore.

That's so cool! I love crayfish, they can be most any color and they are
pretty because of that. They remind me of sea lobster - In fact I am often
tempted to call crayfish freshwater lobster. We have them in the mountain
areas around here above this valley. I don't know if their native, I thought
I heard a rumor that they are not native here (Oregon, US)? That's cool your
crayfish lives with fish (and other organisms?), I had read a time or too
before that crayfish are close to the top of the food chain and eat fish
like they were mean't for the crayfish. I bet your crayfish is fun to watch,
they have peculiar behaviors. Later!
