newsgroup still working?

I haven't received any new newsgroup postings since the 19th. Is anyone
else experiencing problems just now? Thanks.

Sympatico's news server is down. When I spoke to them, they said that they
were experiencing some technical challenges getting the service back up ;~).

I came back from a short trip, and the newsgroups are up again. Thanks
for your comments, folks.

Yes, I am on Sympatico. During this interruption I switched from
news1.sympatico.ca to the free news server freenews.netfront.net, but it
did not help at the time (a few days ago). That's the server through
which I'm receiving news now, so will stick with it for a while.

Might be time to get an ISP , that is more reliable.

On their *best* day, I find Sympatico's news server to be missing many
posts. My news server at work (Magma) is missing less and different posts!
*sigh* Keeps life interesting, however the word 'interesting' is sometimes
used as a curse ;~).
