I was feeding the fish today and I noticed that the Cardinal Tetras seem a
litle swollen around the belly. They seem swollen at the very bottom where
the silver stripe is located. They seem to be swimming OK and eating OK, but
this seems a little odd.
Any ideas?

Could they be females with eggs? Female cardinals definately get
rounder than males and it's usually at the white stripe.

My first fear (paranoia) was Dropsy, since the Gold Barbs seems a little
more silver (dilute color) than usual. I was concerned that their scales
might be standing up. But when I looked at them from above I did not notice
any problems.
Just checked....
Everyone is back to normal size. :) I guess the Loaches had eggs for
breakfast.
