I had shubunkins jumping this spring out of my 3 half-barrel setup and
got some good advice here. The situation was the same as yours - all
water tests were good and no reason for jumping fish. I changed 1/3
of
the water and added a unit of Boyd's Chemi Pure, a mixture of ion
exchange resins and carbon. The jumping stopped and hasn't resumed.
However, I'm sure you have many more gallons of water than I do, so I
don't know whether adding chemical filtration is practical.
well i think i might give that a go but ill check wether that is ok in
a large pond.
Thanks everyone for their advice on this problem ive had i just hope i
can sort it now.

happy ponding!!!
