Despite $4 gas ahead, relentless hurricanes, and orange barrels galore, TSA
is....
Still rocking!
The best live rock you can get, grown in America without plundering the
environment.
How does the Buckeye coral head do it? Traded in the old "Rock Rivie"
(actually she died in Fort Pierce, RIP, with 225M miles) for a
this-millenium F-150, she's the White Shark. Bigger hauls, more reliable,
too!
TSA's Next live rock harvesting trip from the Florida Keys and home to Ohio
and S. Michigan begins late October 2005!
By now you know this is the only live rock you can get that's never been out
of the water until you receive it. The biodiversity is astounding, use it to
start a new system or jump start an existing tank.
TerraSubAqua, Florida Keys-Atlantic Ocean aquaculture specializes in LIVE
rock that's been basking in the crystal clear Keys Gulf Stream water for
years, attracting all sorts of life. We have beautiful peach and pink
coquina substrate splashed with vividly colored pink-purple-blue coralline
algae, coral, bryozoans, fire-red sponge, tunicates, tube worms, spiny
oyster and other inverts.
Also have arrow crabs, banded coral shrimp, small conchs, coral snails,
flame scallops, brittle stars, cleaner shrimp, decorator crabs, hermits, and
urchins, etc., that hitch a FREE ride and survive with our TLC handling.
Our 'secret'; ground delivery is best, keep cool or warm, well aerated and
submerged at all times including at harvest. This is very difficult, no one
else does it, but it maximizes survival of the biodiversity and NO CURING is
needed: most folks stock the display/sales tank directly with negligible
losses.
This is a light-density clam and shrimp shell sedimentary rock, NO
phosphate, a form of Aragonite that's quite porous, with some flat pieces
good for wall building, holes for mounting corals, nooks, crannies and
serpentine caves for hideouts.
Since we live in Ohio, we do drop-offs anywhere along I-75, also along I-95
in GA and SC, I-26 in SC and NC, and I-40 in NC and TN. We deliver FREE if y
ou are en route, check your Rand McNally.
50 lbs. minimum order, $4.50 per lb. retail if you aren't near one of our
fine distributors.
$3.95 wholesale, COD.
Check the web site, and let us know if you are interested! We always take
advance orders and sell out before we head south, so write early!
Coming soon, a bigger trailer. Movin on UP!
Got to surface eventually,
