View Full Version : Is my red female betta really a male?

After some discussion on this group about my red female possibly being
male after she grabbed my blue male's tail and wouldn't let go, I
decided to post some links to pictures of her. She looks a lot like a
red male "fighter" type betta I found on a website:

Sorry for the bad picture quality, but my digi cam is slow and only
1.3MP. And my red wouldn't sit still long enough to have her photo
taken! I would have posted the images themselves, but I'm not sure
it's allowed on this forum, so I figured links were safer.
