View Full Version : old air pump

I've mentioned the 20L I got cheap at a garage sale recently. Along
with it was an old air pump.

I mention it here in case someone remembers it with nostalgia.

It's in a wooden box with dentil molding style protrusions all over. It
looks like a medieval sarcophagus :-). It was made by Haddaway
Manufacturing in Mammoth Lakes CA. Instead of a UL sticker, it has one
from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.

Since it doesn't work very well I opened it up. Written in ink on the
bottom were the dates 1/57 and (I think) 8/70 :-).

I'll never use it, but I may keep it around just as a memento.

Hope this post brought fond memories to someone.

Thanks for the descriptive image (this was before even my time ;~).
Sounds like a conversation piece.
