I see conflicting thoughts in regard to bristle worms so I figured that I would
get some more opinions here. I found at least (2) bristle worms in my tank when
I was peeking in on it with a flashlight last night. They are both about 3
inches long. The tank is mainly fish but does have a few feather dusters and a
medium size yellow umbrella coral. Should I be concerned? What action if any
should I take? Thanks for your comments.

They are the best detritivores that money can buy... Feed them well so they
reproduce.. Their spawns will feed your corals as well as their feces.. From An
article written by Dr Ron Shimek...... " Generally, the small deposit-feeders
back up to the surface to defecate, and in doing so they spray a fine mist of
semi-solid worm feces into the water column. This material is fine particulate
organic material which is just about perfect "sps" coral food"...
