Are emerald crabs known to bother brittle stars? We bought 4 emerald crabs
awhile ago, and 2 of them just got massive (molted twice!). Recently, we
observed that a couple of the arms of our brittle star seem like they've
been cut. Could this be the crab? I've been looking around with a flashlight
to see what else could have done this, but other than the crab I don't have
anything that could cleanly slice my brittle star's arm. We do have other
crabs (hermit, decorator, etc) but they're all pretty tiny and came with my
live rock.

Thanks!

Dont think it would of been your emerald Mine has been in our tank for
8 months never had a problem with it. Check out the claws ... there
made for pulling algee not cutting. Have a good look might be a rock
crab or teddybear.
