Maybe cleaning shrimp will help? These shrimps are ocean medics.
They eat parasites our of fish body... You need to have reef ready
conditions in your tank to have shrimp survive.

Hi Baruch
Hunted high and low for something on this but cannot fnd anything on the
net.
I recall from living in Southern Africa that the parasite which causes
Bilharzia is carried by snails and often shows itself in fish as a worm in
the eyeball of the fish. Unfortunately this is a fresh (or brackish) water
condition only, the parasite is carried by snails and is also usually
associated with still, or stangnant water. The parasite can also affect
humans by way of the "microworm" entering through the skin. The disease is
represented in Africa in greater than 80 percent of it's global footprint.
Don't know much about the fish you've purchased or its habitat, is it
potentially a brackish water inhabitant?
Regards
Chris
