best live rock..price?

I am just getting back into reefs again and was wondering what is the best
live rock going...it use to be Fiji, what is it now? also who has the best
deal going? I am looking for around 45 pounds...

Hi Ed, Welcome Back.
Fiji is still my choice, although the Eva rock that has been comming in has
some really cool shapes, and colors up well. Its also a little lighter that
Fiji, but a little more expensive.

Odered 46 lbs from marine Depot live. $160 delivered overnight. On special
now. Rock was very good quality, good size pieces and no rubble

You need to shop around on line and look for the $99 specials for 45
lbs. I got Marine Depots special last spring and it was ok rock for
the price. It was much better quality and a lot less then the stuff
the LFS here call live rock.

Any rock you get mail order will have to be cured to some extent. I
got there semi/pre cured and it took a couple of weeks before it was
safe to put in my exisiting set-up.
