Colorimeter and other gadgets

Anybody using one? If so brand, price, any helfpul info. I have been
really good this year, and want a good gift from Santa.

Any other suggestions for cool gadgets?

Is there any way to use an old computer to monitor and control lights,
and record readings from monitors, similar to the Octpus or Neptune?
