Anybody know what became of him? His site, www.mr4000.com, has been down a
long time now. I'm betting either catastrophic tank failure or nasty
divorce....

I've read a few comments, but what I recall is his tank was one massive
evaporation magnet and caused a lot of moisture issues / humidity in his home.
I believe I read that he had it for about 2 years, then it was over, but there
is no reason to quote me on that since I don't know the story first hand.

Marc - I have heard the same story :o) Evaporation from the tank was way to
much !!!

I heard this as well. On RC I heard there was some question to weither it
was a hoax or not. I REALLY don't think it was. I tried a search for the
thread to see of I could find why someone would say that but couldn't find
it. Anyone else know where it is?

Rummer:
Too much humidity by evaproation and end result was to take the tank down.
