Have you seen this yet? I am a shrimp freak ;-) and this appeals to me:

Do you know if I can raise my own Hawaiian red shrimp at home? :-))))
What should I do if I want to keep the culture ready for feeding when needed?
Do they multiply in the aquarium like mysid shrimps do? I have read several
methods of raising your own mysid shrimps, but I have never heard about
Hawaiian red shrimp being raised in captivity... Ocean Rider writes something
about lava rock and fungus/bacteria as food for the Hawaiian shrimps - how can
I get this kind of rock and keep everything growing home? Can I feed other fish
with them, like big tangs? My tang loves frozen mysid shrimp, will it like Hwaiian, too?

I've found these shrimps will eat very tiny pieces of marine flake.
