Currently I have:
1 percula
2 hermits
1 sifter snail
1 horned snail
20 lbs LR
1 coral stripe shrimp??
Today I added an urchin, a bubble anemone and another percula and rearranged
the LR a bit and did a 30% water change.
Over the past two hours ( one hour after the changes) I have noticed that my
first percula seems to be twitching and going on his side once in awhile. He
has also been hiding in the back alot. The hiding isn't too suspicious
considering he has been doing that since I got him (two weeks ago) and
considering he is 2.5 times bigger than the new percula I don't think it is
a territory thing. Besides when I added the new fish they were swimming side
by side in the current for while.
Any ideas on the twitching?

I can't see anything on him. He just seems not very lively and the twitch
has lessened but he still does it once in a while. Just before he twitches
he goes on his side.

yeah he has been fine for the past 36 hours in fact now him and the new
clown are swimming together and they come out from their respective hiding
places much more often. Now if I could somehow coax my anemone to come out
into the open maybe they can enjoy him too.

Yeah, it sounds like it could be what I call the "shakey dance". It is
basically a mating call.
Was it kinda staying in one place and shaking vigourously for a second or
two?

yeah he would stop swimming and sort of roll onto his side then do a twitch
and straighten up again. Very curious to watch.
