View Full Version : Reef Do-it-Yourself website/books?

Been looking into the idea of making my FO tank into a reef, and wanted
advice/suggestions on good websites or books that talk about creating things
yourself.
I need to improve the lighting and make a DSB, but also heard about other
gadgets that will be good for the reef, such as a IV-drip like contraption
for feeding, etc. I went to the store, and the price tag on all these things
just make it impossible!

I would suggest reading a book like this before you get started. Go for the
hardcover. John makes learning about reef habitats and such quite
a good read by also including stories from when he was a biology student at
the University of Tennessee..... I think this is Johns best book and has
been recently updated...
