This is SOOOO weird

Really creepy. The huge coral-banded shrimp shed his skin in its
entirety, and the empty thing is still moving! The real live fresh
shrimp is in his cave, within sight of this ghost. It really is weird
looking.

If the empty shell is still moving, it's only from the currents in the tank.
What you witnessed is not wierd, it's normal. ALL ANIMALS with an
exoskeleton molt. They have to do it in order to grow. We would too, if our
bones were on the outside.
