Blue/green chromis-very fragile???

Hi,
We just started a reef tank recently and we have had good luck with
everything so far except with the blue/green chromises(sp). We are down to
one and I don't have lots of hope for him.
We have a pj cardinale, coral banded shrimp, coral beauty, yellow tang,
sally lightfoot, and various red and blue leg crabs and snails.
Tank water values are all perfect.

Any ideas?

How old is the tank?

Can you define "perfect" for us?

Mort,
Our tank is about a month an 1/2 old and the values are:
no nitrites/nitrates oor ammonia and ph of 8.4. Maybe not perfect but not
out of the acceptable range.

What else is in there? Any Live Rock?

How often do you feed the Chromis. In nature chromis are plankton
eaters and will eat all day long. In your tank they do not have much
for natural food so they need to be feed 3 to 5 times a day to make sure
they are getting enough food. Also need to make sure your other fish
are not harassing them to much.

We have about 140 pounds of live rock in a 92 gal corner tank. We cured it
(my husband was in charge of that) and we got a bunch of the little crabs to
get things going.

We have a pj cardinale, banded coral shrimp, coral beauty, yellow tang,
sally lightfoot, and various red and blue leg crabs and snails.

We also feed the chromis at least 3 times a day.

We feed them at least 3 times a day. I don't seem them be harrassed, but
they are very timid and dissappear behind the rock. Who knows what is going
on back there. I haven't seen any signs of hitchhikers but we keep our eyes
peeled.

One of my 3 chromis went into my over flow to my wet/dry several days ago. I
found it some time later (the next morning) in 900 gph of water flow. I
picked it out and put in the tank and it is still doing fine.
