Hello all,
I was curious to know if anyone out there has used or is currently using the
Durso style standpipe for a FW system with a sump?
I don't doubt that the Durso standpipe will reduce the amount of bubbles
that get blown into the sump from the overflow, but what I'm really
interested in is if the reduction of bubbles is significant enough to retain
some residual CO2 in the water for live plant growth. At the current rate
that the bubbles get into the sump, I would expect that I have minimal CO2
in my water and the O2 is maximized.
