Hello everyone,

just one week ago I introduced live rocks to my new aquarium. After first
day I found first crab, later on second one and lately I found the fourth
(three of them are small, one quite big, they are staying nearby their
holes eating something from the rocks). How many of them I will find yet,
I don’t know. The question is – how dangerous they can be to
other inhabitants? Should I catch all of them to preserve my corals and
other reef animals? I was told that this is the only way, but I
don’t want to do it “just because” – only if it is
really needed. What should I do?
Thanks in advance.
Jarek

What kinds of crabs? Hermit crabs? Emerald crabs? Something else?

It all depends on the species. Some are safe. Others aren't.
