View Full Version : High GH, low KH

GH is very high (320 mg/L) but KH is very low (20 mg/L). pH is OK
(7.4).
What to do?
I have two common goldfish in 30 gallons tank.

Are they healthy? Are they doing fine? If so, then leave it be.

If the pH is stable, nothing. The more you mess around with things, the
more likely something bad can happen. Murphy's law applies to aquaria
too. ;-)
If it starts to drop over time, a pinch or so of baking soda can do the
trick. Or, you can purchase product that will keep your kH stable.
