Hi,

I just removed a dead guppy which almost hadn't tail fin, but i have
noticed other bad case very similar: another guppy with very
deteriorated tail fin (it's almost as the dead one), which seems to
refuse to swim (it's resting on the hollow trunk now). There's another
one which seems to be tired and it seems difficult for him to move with
his tail (it had no problems before)...

This only happens to these two guppies, they seem weak... what could
cause this fin disease and weakness? Can it be treated?

Note: it seems to me that theese three fishes (the dead, the sick and
the tired) where blue coloured and had the same male parent (and
probably female), also blue, they were born in january, i think.
I first bought from the shop 2 male guppies and 2 females, the second
to die was the blue male (second to a female which didn't seem to mate
and ended dying). Could this "genetic line" be weak?

Thanks.

What's your water quality? I had something like this once, pH very
low.
