We are redecorating our living room and plan on upgrading my 20/29 gallon
freshwater tanks (on an iron stand) to a 55 or 70 gallon bowed front marine
tank. The new tank will be housed in a new custom built wall bookcase. The
tank will set on a heavy duty) shelf with cabinet space below (for fish
supplies and equipment).

I would appreciate your advice on:

1. special considerations for the design of the bookcase/tank shelf/cabinet
2. resources for designing the bookcase/tank shelf/cabinet

Thanks in advance.

Wow, I should probably give you some advise since I stole 100% of your
audiobooks about a year ago, but I think the only think I will tell you is
to NOT confine the tank. Leave yourself plenty of room for working on the
tank and if you are smart, you will build in a special area for an
evaporation top off container and pump the top off water with a pump vs.
topping off the tank with buckets of water such as all the other morons in
the group.
