I've purchased some fancy guppies and when I got them home one of the
females looks deformed. All of the others are straight but she has a
crooked back. It's straight until just before the base of her tail and
then it curves down and straightens back out. Could she already be
pregnant or is she deformed. I've only had livebearers once before and
that was years ago and I didn't realize that 1 was pregnant untill one
day I saw little black dots moving around in the tank. She dosen't seem
bothered by this and swims around fine bu I was just wondering if any
one could tell me what a pregnant guppy looks like??

Pregnant guppies have a big, round, wide belly and a very dark "gravid
spot" just before the anal fin. They do not have crooked backs. Your
guppy is probably deformed from bad genetics or an early nutritional
deficiency. It shouldn't hurt her, but her offspring may also have
crooked backs.
