No, not the car's gas tank - can't afford that.
We've had a bit of drought here in the Mid-Atlantic and the water bill has
been suffering from it due to topping off the ponds. Thanks to the remnants
of Tropical Storm Tammy, both of the ponds are completely full now. And the
lawn is looking a bit better too!

We didn't get much rain but did get to do our last major partial water
changes on all our ponds, pools and tanks for FREE. The water company is
dragging their feet replacing our failed water-meter. :-) They cannot
charge us for unmetered water when the meters fail. Oh, happy day!!!!

The old "when handed lemons, made lemonade" process. :o)
Really hoping for no wind here this week so closing down my ponds
completely next weekend isn't more of a chore. Not that the trees are
looking too yellow yet. ~ jan
