Hello all

I'm new here and a beginner when it comes to fish!

3 weeks ago I rescued some eggs from my coldwater goldfish tank. The eggs hatched, I put them in them a floating breeding trap in the normal tank (which has a small in-built filter and light) and they have small amounts of dried food each day. Some of them died, but two have survived and are looking quite healthy - you can see them developing daily. As I'm quite new to this I was wondering if anyone has any tips that will help me ? Also any ideas when I should introduce them to the normal tank, and how long do they take to mature ?

Thanks !

Here's my advice.

Feed small amounts several times a day.

Keep the water quality absolutely immaculate.

Thats it!! Luck will play the next hand!

as long as you keep conditions good, keep the water clean, most of all stop
the other fish from eating them! they should do well. We had almost millions
of them in our pond, the fish eat most of the eggs, but we managed to get 11
new fish in the end :-)
