I managed to put my female guppy into a separate floating breeded trap about
2 hrs before she had little ones, so I now have about 12-14 babies. I have
had little ones before, but this time I was able to see about 1/2 dozen
being born. My question is, are they born in a sac? It seemed that they came
out in like a little ball and then instantly unfolded and swam away. It is
amazing at how fast they are right away. They also have the knowledge that
Mom may want to eat them.

Thanks in advance for your answers
Nathan

No sac, just bare nekkid and ready to swim away from large moving
things. Baby guppies may be born curled up though I have seen them
born headfirst, too.
