My open brain coral is an oval shape when deflated with 2 mouths. Does
each mouth need to eat? Is it one animal with 2 mouths or 2 separate
animals connected?

I would feed each mouth some krill, and make sure nothing steals it
(even an hour later!).

Durring the time that it is splitting, and the flesh is
still one, it get's it's nutrition from each other.
Eventualy as it seperates, it won't get nutrition from
each other. Your brain coral will get most of it's
nutrition from the light, so that's most important. The
feeding will increas the growth and vigor, but don't
figure on feeding, replacing needed light.

Thanks for the answers. I have been putting a dome over it after feeding so
the clownfish's wiggling doesn't "swish" the food away. The clownfish have
claimed the brain as their territory.
