I was watching a documentry tonight and they said the coral on the great
barrier reef spawn only on the night of a full moon during November only.
Do use guys/girls with coral tanks ever get spawning ? or do you ever
see it ?, or do we have to simulate the moon light on that night ourselves ?

I just was reading Flame Angel's journals last night, and one of her corals
spawned during November.
Click on Current Tank Photos, it was in there. http://www.sjwilson.net/reef/

Click on the word "NAVIGATION" on the right side of the screen to access more
options. She's got a great site.

I've seen my anemone spawn once and captured it on film.

Btw, I thought spawning took place more often than once a year in the reef.

well I have seen it mentioned on the science channel and discovery both
ways. one weeks its 'only once a year around Nov when the tide and mood are
just right......" and then the next week its "during early spring
as the water temp of the reef starts to rise............."

so who knows.
