Has anyone re-cultured live rock? I have some that has died off completely
and was hoping there is a way to introduce most of the organisms that once
lived on it.

It takes time and a lot of good live rock but it is doable...
Sooner or later animals will migrate from live rock to dead rock
in a healthy reef system but it will take months or even years
before the dead rock will be populated as good as the live rock...
So if you are a man of patience go for it :-)
Tip: Use it as a base rock and cover it with fresh rock on top.

Thanks for the advice.
Is there any way I can get the right algae to grow on the rocks in the
meantime?
