I lost poor little Flower the discus. He never did start eating again
and the metronidazole everyone recommended must have been too little too
late. He died on the fifth day of treatment. Ah, well. It's not like
I had an adequate tank for him anyway.
I guess this means I've got room for the outdoor mollies and Endlers to
come inside...I really wasn't sure where I was going to put them come
winter.

Sorry to hear that. Well, the odds were against you. Single discus in
a small tank, I don't think even for expert like you would have that
much chance to keep him happy and alive for a long time.
Maybe now it's time for you to get a 200 g tank.

:-) Maybe one of these years. My current landlady would kick me out if
I tried. But that's OK - Now I have room for all the cardinals I wanted
in the first place.
