Need some advice

I'm moving with in the next week, and I need advice on best way to move the
fish. To throw a wrench into it, two of my aulonocara baenschi are holding
right now. They probably have been holding for about a week. I have not
seperated them because with all the rock work i'm afraid to stress them to
the point of spitting the eggs.
What I need is advice on best way to move the fish when I move and should I
attempt to seperate the two holding aulonocara baenschi? Thanks for any
help.

If they weren't holding, I'd consider lowering the temperature before
moving, but I digress. Consider removing rocks in the dark or low light.
I find that mine don't get as freaked out by the lack of hiding places if
the surroundings are sufficiently dark. Once the rocks are gone, you
could then separate them and take the care you need with them.

Moving might be traumatic in any event, I'd consider stripping the eggs
before moving b/c you'd need to control temparature and aeration during
the move. Otherwise you'd risk malformed fry.

Don't forget to take a good portion of the existing water with you on
your move and don't wash out the filter material as tempting as a full
clensing is at this juncture. I just moved myself and have found that
reintroducing the fish to the new location was problem free. They get a
little groggy in low temp (75 - 77 F) but they whethered it just fine.
