My two platies that were showing what appeared to be flex didn't respond
very well to the 5-day program with Mardel products, but seemed to get a
lot better with the 5-days of Kanamycin.

It "appears" that the white mossy stuff is gone, but there are still white
patches that are obvious because the fish are orange. I don't know if the
platies were scarred or what.

In any case, they've already had 10 straight days of antibiotics and I was
wondering if I should take a couple days off and see if there is any
change in the fish.

If it's not a problem to continue dosing them I'll probably just do so,
though.

We sometimes went longer. I think I remember one of our Kanamycin
treatments as being every 2nd day for 3 dosages, repeated up to 3 times
(18 days). ymmv Didn't they give you any directions?

The Mardel says you can repeat the treatment once. The Kanamycin
has a recommendation to do a water change if you're going to repeat.

I've just already been dosing for 10-days. Nowhere did I see an
indication that you can treat them indefinitely.
