12G Nano cube lighting problem

I have a 12G Nano Cube that I got about 1.5 years ago. The lighting for
the tank recently stopped working, so I replaced the bulb/light tube
thinking it burned out. But still it didn't work. Anyone know what the
problem could be?

I would guess that it is some type of a flourcent light, so it will have
a ballast, that could have gone bad. Now getting to the ballast can be
a pain at times. Also getting an exact replacement can be hard, but a
Fulham workhorse ballast can be used as a replacement for most lighting
systems.
