Hi,

I have just bought a Juwel 400 from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7722457668&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK:1

My plan is to set this tank into a marine tank. I have read various stuff
online about how to do it but am a little unsure as to advice from other
people as I feel getting a variety of opinions is better than just a few who
have a profit to make (ie aquatic shops).

The size of the tank is 151cm x 62cm x 51cm.

It has its own heater but am unsure whether the canister filter which comes
with it is capable of doing the job for a marine tank - it was previously
used as a tropical tank.

I have been advised to get a wet/dry filter with built in protein skimmer.
Are there any quiet ones which are reasonably priced which anyone can
recommend?

I am unsure about whether to keep just fish or coral as well. What are the
differences between running a fish only tank and one with fish and coral?

Basically I want a list of what I am gonna need to set this monster up!

ps I am from the UK.

Try reading this article: http://www.melevsreef.com/overview.htm

There is plenty for you to learn before you set up the tank, and if you
take your time you'll end up buying the right equipment the first time
rather than rebuying what you should have bought in the first place but
didn't because you didn't know better. Whew!!! :)
