I'm into my second year with my reef tank. I took thing slow at first
with just learning about the basics with first starting out with live
rock and just a few fish. When I purchased the fish in the tank I made
sure they where reef compatable and currently i have a
Yellow Tank
Maroon Clown
Blennie
Half black angel
coral beauty
Goby
emerald crabs
hermit crabs
snails ect.....

Now I want to find out which corals are the best for beginners. I just
purchased Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman and I'm excited to learn
about all the wonderus things in this book. I also have
Polyps-Mushrooms Torch Corals-Hammer Corals and feel as if Im ready to
begin with other corals. I thought I would start collecting Acropora
Is his coral a diffucult one to keep or what other corals are Hardy
for beginners.

I

I have a 125 gal
Ca Reactor
2-250 watt Mh lights

What suggestions do you have?

Acripora are not dificult to keep if you have *good*
lighting, and water flow, and don't get caried away with
adding to much additives to the water, and the general
aquarium care. But I can't stress enoupgh the importance
of good lighing. Most people get into reef tanks with
substandard lighting.
